Do you know what you carry? Too strong to quit

THINK TWICE: TOO STRONG TO Quit.

"Sometimes we feel like giving up" did I just say sometimes? Well most times we are on the verge of giving up and I am not excluded. We feel the task is too heavy as we struggle to get acceptance and our work completing its purpose-touching a life as we looked forward to feed backs and encouragement.

You are the preacher of the gospel, but that doesn't make you any less human or more of a little god, it is okay to make mistakes, be limited by your imperfections, feel sad or even fall but what makes you different is the power of grace which you carry.

You are not just a gospel artist, you are a preacher, you're creative, you're a model, a friend and a mentor, each of these come with its responsibility. More is expected from you but that doesn't mean you are perfect but remember to strive towards it.

There are times I want to give up, put it all behind me and most times i ask myself why I started, times I want to shut everyone out, stay alone and forget about everyone and everything, everyday has its own challenges, from wanting my music out there, promoting it, praying it touches a life and accomplish that which it was meant for, to crisis from friends, family and everyday my emotion is fighting a war hoping it will conquer. My fears keep developing and breaking me, so tell me why, reasons to give it all up wouldn't be there? When I see the people waiting to be filled I wish I had never started and that voice keep saying to me 'leave before it gets any tougher', most times I feel everything would have been different if I hadn't started this path, often had I cleared my desk to the bin and wish I could close the curtain and everything ends there but many of these times was I wrong.
Despite all these a strange hunger and thirst to fill the earth with Christ keeps pushing me towards wanting to do more, which is the reason I stand up and push on. It is okay to feel bad, it is okay to want to leave it all but remember the banner which you carry and remember him who you represent and he is not a loser, neither is he a quitter he is not one who leaves what he has started unfinished.

When such feelings come, they come only to remind you of how human you are, but it is your responsibility to remind it of the grace which you stand on. Why start only to leave it unfinished? Why leave when thousands have not been reached by the gospel in your words? He called you to it, he will not leave you hanging, keep holding on, look to the mirror and see how strong the force driving you is. With patience and perseverance, we will conquer it all and attain the goal of our existence.
